With what can I replace my 1390 wifi card ?
I have a Dell inspiron E1705 laptop. In side, there is a Dell 1390 wireless card. But it doesn’t connect to low wifi signals. I’d like to replace it with a more powerful wireless card. I have 3 kind of slots in my laptop: mini PCI card, expresscard, USB port. What should I buy?

Buy an express card laptop card, it is the fastest speed, usb ones are ok, but they get really hot and stick out way to far from your laptop, stay away from mini pci wireless cards they are frought with compatibility problems and they are harder to install and will get the least amount of signal.
802.11N is really good for range, so look for that, also you should upgrade your wireless router by either buying a new one or buying high gain antennas.
