So I am a complete computer geek, but even THIS stumps me: My desktop has a new WiFi PCI card okay? Whenever I go to play Crysis or Homeworld or anything online the wifi signal drops out – But when I use it over LAN it runs fine! Anyone know what it could be? Drivers are all updated, Max power etc,

it could be interference from another network or wireless device
make sure that you are away from cordless phones, and microwave ovens, and try to change the channel you are using.
it could be problem with either the card or the AP
