I need Wifi help for wireless desktop?

I recently purchased a router and pci card i installed both but it still wont connect my wirless desktop
I need all that

You need your router to be successfully connecting to your subscribed broadband connection and test the connection using the cable provided. You then configure the router to allow wireless and set encryption, as described in its’ manual.

hmm..maybe you didnt set it up right..when you sync them..your computer should only ask for a wep code. and boom thats it!

have you setup any kind of wireless security? try disabling it and then connecting – if this works make sure the security is set to WPA (AES) give yourself a password – and then goto view wireless networks on your computer – select advanced – delete the remembered connection and setup again from scratch entering the new wifi password
